Privacy Statement & Consent Form

  1. Purpose
    By submitting your personal information and resume (herein called “your profile”), you agree your profile may be used, accessed, stored, and processed according to the terms & conditions below.
  2. Commitment
    Your profile will only be used for the purpose of a free consultation unless otherwise contacted in the future requesting another use and to be subject to your consent.
  3. Which personal data is collected
    As part of the free consultation process, you will be asked to provide your profile including, but not limited to, your first and last name, email address, location (postal code), current/most recent job title, desired salary, availability for consultation, etc.
  4. Lawful basis for processing your profile – Declaration of informed consent and cancellation
    Your profile is processed based on your consent. By clicking the “I AGREE TO PRIVACY POLICY” button, you agree and consent that your profile may be used, accessed, stored, and processed according to the terms & conditions contained herein. If you do not give your consent, please be informed that your profile cannot be uploaded. Email info@careerconnexions.ca with any questions.
  5. Access to your profile
    Only representatives of Career Connexions, who are bound by confidentiality obligations, will be able to access your profile as it is processed for the free consultation.
  6. Your rights / Withdrawing your profile
    You have several rights. You can:
  • Access and obtain a copy of your profile on request;
  • Request Career Connexions to change incorrect or incomplete parts or all of your profile;
  • Object to the processing of your profile;
  • Ask to stop processing your profile if it is inaccurate;
  • Request Career Connexions to delete or stop processing your profile, for example when your profile is no longer necessary for the intended purposes or you withdraw your consent.
    If you request the cancellation of your consent, your profile will be removed within a reasonable time frame and subsequently deleted.
    If you decide to cancel your consent to the use, access, storage, and processing of your profile, please advise Career Connexions by sending an email to: info@careerconnexions.ca. Following receipt of your email, a representative of Career Connexions will follow up with you in a timely manner.
